System Feature Overview

Patient Appointments Confirmation – By interfacing to your existing back-office patient systems, InTouch can provide a fully automated appointment confirmation to patients, during and after office hours, as well as delivering critical pre-procedure information. Freeing your office staff to do more important tasks.

Automated Attendant – Answers your phones with courtesy and efficiency 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, and instantly routes all callers to the most suitable person to handle their call.

Patient Call Screening – Following your own practice’s policies and procedures, this allows an office to screen all arriving calls and deliver only those urgent calls that need immediate attention by a doctor or nurse, while routing non-critical calls to front office staff or voicemail.

FollowMe Service – Allows practitioners to establish their own methods for contact. InTouch can ensure all priority calls, or those calls expected are sent to the most convenient telephone at any time. Thus eliminating office staff from tracking down a doctor with a multitude of calls, or relying on uncertain pager messages.

Procedure Dictation – Allows a doctor to dictate procedure reports from any phone at any time. InTouch Digital will then instantly forward the dictation to a transcription service or in-house transcription secretary, while maintaining an original voice copy for archive purposes.

Office VoiceMail – A full-featured voicemail system, enhancing communications between partners and staff. Providing voice messaging with optional Urgent, Confidential and Certified messages.

Critical Situation Alerts – Many times there is a need to contact one or many of your staff or peers immediately. InTouch provides the ability to contact any staff member via the use of all communication devices available today. Such as home phone, cellular phone, text messages, numeric and alpha pager, PDA, email etc.

Telephone Medical Advice is a relatively new method used by health-care organizations to better meet the medical needs of their patients. By use of a telephone, patients are able to contact their health-care provider to explain their symptoms and receive immediate advice about the proper course of action that should be taken. This can make it less critical that patients visit a doctor or emergency room, thus reducing the cost of health care.
